| Multiple Freezer Discharge to Automated Packing |
 |
This photograph shows one of our line merge
conveyor lifts, the unit allows one automated packing machine
to have an alternate supply from two separate freezers.
In its low level position (as shown) the product
is run straight across the modular
belt conveyors, spread apart slightly and transferred onto
a belt conveyor.
In its high level position the product comes
in from the left on the spreading modular belt conveyor, transfers
onto a belt bend which keeps the product in line as it brings
it 90° onto the small modular belt conveyor.

| Lift unit in the down position,
each freezer feeds its own packing station. |
Lift unit in the up position allows the hand
pack freezer line to cross over to the automated packing line. |

|
| When in a straight
through configuration the modular belt bridge conveyor is not in
use and can be pneumatically lifted out of the way to allow easy
access for both pedestrians and trucks. |
|
The system works by
selecting one of two infeeds onto one line or using two lines together. |
